VAT

The provider applies the small-business rule under section 19 of the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG) to qualifying supplies made by the provider. The price and applicable taxes for purchases through the Mac App Store are determined by the storefront. Small-business status does not itself determine whether a VAT identification number has been assigned.

Sonventory is operated by Tibor Czekay as a sole proprietorship and is not entered in the commercial register. Software publishing is not presented here as a profession subject to a specific professional licensing authority.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG).

Important note on the nature of the offering

Sonventory is a paid application for macOS. It is distributed through the Mac App Store and runs on the user's own device. With it, the user connects accounts they own or are validly mandated to manage on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram through those platforms' official interfaces, has the music contained in their own videos identified by automatic audio recognition, documents the results, and analyses reach, audience, content and comments.

We provide no legal or licensing advice and no legal services within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz, RDG). Neither we nor the app examine copyright, neighbouring rights, licence terms, platform licences, chains of title or rights of use. The app's output is not a legal review, a licence confirmation, a clearance, a risk assessment or a recommendation to act.

The app licence is an agreement with Tibor Czekay. App Store transactions, the merchant shown at checkout and billing follow the Apple Media Services Terms; see the terms of use for the division of responsibilities.

The offering is directed at business users within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB). This intended audience does not remove mandatory rights if a person legally qualifies as a consumer.

Language

The Sonventory website and these legal documents are published in English. The app supports German and English. This notice, the terms of use, the privacy policy and the withdrawal policy are published in English only and are not translations of a German original. German law still applies to them, and the German statutes referred to keep their own names.

We are responsible for the content we publish under applicable law. Please report inaccurate content or possible infringements to the contact address above so we can review and correct them. Statutory liability remains unaffected.
